It's not like it's against the rules or anything, but it gets frustrating for the rest of us at times. If you want, you could post a 'draft' of your entry, which you may then replace with a more fine-tuned version of it... so as to show progress on your drawing."
2006-07-01 [Ocean Soul]: Actually this whole 'reserving a spot' does not make any sense at all. it only means that, when you finally upload your thing, people will probably not even see it because it's not the last in the list but somewhere in the middle. Reserving a spot only sometimes makes sense, when a contest is limited to 10 entries or something. But for this one - no. And it doesn't matter whether your entry is nr 5 or 50 :)
